Wedding dress shopping should be fun and enjoyable. It should never be stressful, but sadly can often be.

To help you out, we’d like to share some simple and effective ways to make the search for your dream bridal gown a whole lot easier.

How we’ll help you prepare for your wedding day

So much goes into your wedding day. That’s why I’m always happy to help with some tips for brides. During the bridal gown fitting at my Tauranga appointment only boutique I’m on hand to help you prepare for your big day.

Key tips can include posture, how to hold flowers (make sure they’re held low), and what the bridesmaids can do. One of the important roles of a bridesmaid is to help ensure the bride’s gown is taken care of. For example, making sure the train is lifted to avoid it getting damaged or dirty.

We’ll be on the red carpet at the Vodafone Music Awards

I adore creating gowns for red carpet events, and can’t wait to see this new gown worn at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards in Auckland.

My wonderful friend Gracie will be wearing it. I had the tremendous honour of creating her bridal gown for her recent wedding, and was honoured again to have created a gown for her to wear at the VMAs.

Our gowns will be at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

I’m delighted to share the news that White Silk Bridal Couture will be exhibiting our designer gowns at the most prestigious international bridal fair in the world.

Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is an event attended by the leading bridal gown designers from across the world.

It’s a great honour to be a New Zealand designer who has been accepted to attend. I can’t wait to share further details with you about what lies ahead.
